ABOUT ROBOVENT CARTRIDGE DUST COLLECTOR FILTERS

What does the RoboVent air cartridge filter part number mean?

Filter part numbers can vary but usually give a clue to specifications about your filter, including media, sizing, and technology used.

For example:

  • Part numbers starting with EX are from the Endurex™ RMO line
  • Part numbers starting with PL are from the PleatLock™ line
  • The central part of the part number indicates the outer diameter and length of the cartridge (e.g., 22D36 = outer diameter ~22’ and length of 36”)
  • The final section of the part number indicates the MERV rating of the filter (e.g., M11 = MERV rating 11; A15 = MERV rating 15; B16 = MERV rating 16)

Where are RoboVent cartridge filters made?

RoboVent cartridge air filters, including Endurex™ and PleatLock™ filters, are made in-house at our Michigan manufacturing facility to the highest quality standards. We manufacture our filters in the USA so we have total control over the quality of the materials and the manufacturing process. That’s how you know that you are getting a high-quality filter that will deliver the performance and longevity you expect.

What makes PleatLock™ dust collector filters better than other cartridge filters?

PleatLock cartridge filters offer many advantages over traditional dust collector filters.

  • Dimples are embossed on the inside and outside of the pleat pack, forming a channel to allow high airflow.
  • PleatLock filters have 35% more media in the same amount of space compared to competing technologies, which translates to a more compact dust collection system.
  • Fine fiber media provides high filtration efficiency and promotes surface loading for better release of dust during filter pulsing and longer filter life.

What is the difference between PleatLock™ and Endurex™ RMO dust collector cartridge filters?

PleatLock and Endurex RMO are both high-quality, proprietary cartridge air filter technologies from RoboVent. Your RoboVent Aftermarket Territory Manager can help you determine which cartridge filter technology is best for your application.

  • RoboVent PleatLock technology creates embossed dimples in the pleat pack, allowing for higher airflow, optimal pleat spacing, better release of surface dust, and longer filter life. PleatLock filters have more pleats per inch, with up to 35% more filter media per cartridge for a more compact dust collection system. PleatLock filters are available in cellulose/polyester blends.
  • Endurex RMO filters utilize hot melt separators and outer straps to support wider pleats and better dust release. Endurex technology is available in various polyester media types, including nanofiber and PTFE-coated cartridge filters.
